Like so many other small business owners, Linnea Jewelers has been deemed a non-essential business. But I have had so many calls for 1st Communion, Graduation, and Confirmation orders. Customers have not stopped celebrating “Life’s Milestones” because of COVID19.  Since the store has been closed many customers have  reached out about how to clean their own jewelry at home to reduce germ spread? So Linneas did a short YOU TUBE tutorial on cleaning your  fine jewelry items at home. I’ve had several of my clients who needed their watch batteries changed or new watches adjusted.  We desperately want to provide these services to our beloved La Grange Community but it is with honorable regard for the health of our Community we are unable to fulfill these requests at this time. So who do I miss? Salon 180, I ​think everyone misses their hairdresser! I am looking forward to being able to browse the book shelves at Anderson’s Book Store. But mostly I ​miss my local business associates who drop by our shop frequently to update me on the pulse of La Grange. The lack of that intimate interaction has left a huge void during Covid19. Like everyone else we are anxious to return to the new normal, whenever and whatever that may be. We are so grateful to all the First Responders, Front-line Health Care Workers and Public facing employees keeping our world moving forward. I look forward to thanking you many of you in person.
