La Grange kicked off the 2020 Farmer’s Market season on Thursday June 4th. The sun was out, and so were vendors and many residents looking to get out of their homes. The market runs from 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. every Thursday morning through October. To align with the State of Illinois’s business reopening plans there are some new practices in place for the start of the 2020 season. In short, bring a mask or face covering to be on the safe side.
Where is the La Grange Farmer’s Market
The market is held just north of Village Hall on East Harris Avenue between La Grange Rd and 6th Ave.
The market runs with a new IN/OUT process and revised layout to create additional space for social distancing and sanitation protocols.
The market follows safety guidelines from the Illinois Farmers Market Association. Shoppers as well as vendors are required to wear face coverings. Please bring a mask or face covering to help keep everyone safe.
Additionally, shoppers will not be allowed to touch or handle products. Vendors will be wearing gloves and will be more than happy to help you assemble your order and process your payment.
